Gravel [GR3]
Hacheon Park
2026
Hacheon rides like someone searching for quiet. Not silence—clarity. The kind you only find when the city drops behind you and the road becomes a thin line into weather, memory, and distance. His relationship with the bike has always been bigger than performance: it’s a way to stay present, to move through life with intention, to turn hard seasons into forward motion.
Based in Seoul, Hacheon and his partner Kwihyun Kim built Bike Makes Me Happy as a home for craft—traveling to meet framebuilders, bringing that same standard back to their community, and curating bikes that feel made, not manufactured. The way he rides mirrors the way he lives: understated, deeply considered, drawn toward machines with soul and miles with meaning. And when he points a bike toward the unknown—Jeju’s edges, back roads without names—he isn’t chasing escape. He’s chasing the version of himself that only shows up out there.
