Terms & Conditions

OVerVIew

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of argonautcycles.com and your purchase of any Argonaut Cycles products or services. By placing an order or submitting a deposit, you agree to these terms in full. Argonaut Cycles is based at 2777 NW Lolo Drive #100, Bend, Oregon 97703.

Orders and Deposits

All Argonaut builds require a $1,000 USD deposit to reserve your production slot. Deposits are fully refundable within two weeks of placement. After two weeks, your slot is held for up to 12 months. If your project is inactive for more than 12 months without communication, the deposit is forfeited.

Submission of a deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and initiates the build process. Argonaut will not begin fabrication until fit data and geometry are finalized and confirmed by the customer.

Custom Builds and Specifications Pricing and Payment

All Argonaut builds are custom-made to order. Once fabrication has begun, changes to geometry, carbon layup, or structural specifications cannot be accommodated. Component and paint decisions may be adjusted during the first 6–8 weeks of the build window without affecting delivery timelines.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate fit data and confirming all specifications in writing before fabrication begins. Argonaut is not liable for fit issues arising from inaccurate or incomplete data provided by the customer or their fit specialist.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in USD. Full payment is due before shipping. Argonaut reserves the right to adjust pricing for complete bikes based on final component selections, custom paint specifications, or currency fluctuations for international orders.

Financing and payment plan options are available. Contact our team to discuss terms. Argonaut uses secure third-party payment processors and does not store credit card information on our servers.

Shipping and Delivery

Domestic shipping is a flat rate and is not included in the listed bike prices. International orders are delivered on a landed basis, inclusive of taxes, duties, and customs fees. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary based on production schedule and shipping carrier.

Title and risk of loss transfer to the customer upon delivery. Argonaut is not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or events beyond our control.

Returns and the 30-Day Ride Guarantee

Argonaut offers a 30-Day Ride Guarantee on framesets (frame and fork) only. If you are not satisfied within 30 days of receiving your frameset, you may return it for a full refund of the frameset cost.

Components, accessories, and complete bike builds are non-refundable. Returns must be initiated by contacting service@argonautcycles.com within the 30-day window. Returned framesets must be in original condition. Damage resulting from riding, modification, or improper use will void the guarantee.

Custom paint, specialized layup, and bespoke geometry builds may be subject to additional return conditions at Argonaut's discretion.

Warranty

Argonaut frames carry a 10-year warranty against manufacturing defects for the original owner. Paint and finish are warranted for 5 years. Argonaut R43 and D33 rims carry a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. Components are covered under the respective OEM manufacturer's warranty.

Warranty coverage applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. Coverage does not extend to damage resulting from crashes, misuse, improper assembly, unauthorized modification, or normal wear and tear. Full warranty terms are available at argonautcycles.com/warranty.
