2026 Factory Racing
Racing

Racing has always been part of Argonaut’s DNA. Not as spectacle, not as logo placement, but as a proving ground—a place where materials, ideas, people, and intent are pushed into honest confrontation with reality.
Racing is where theory ends and truth begins.
For 2026, we’re doubling down.
Doubling down on athletes who race with curiosity and conviction. Doubling down on events that shape the culture of drop-bar cycling, not just the calendar. Doubling down on showing up—not just with bikes, but with presence, hospitality, and shared experience.
This season, Argonaut Factory Racing expands with intention.
Three athletes. Two cornerstone event partnerships. One throughline: building and riding the finest carbon fiber bicycles in the world, exactly where they belong—under riders who demand everything from them.
Lauren De Crescenzo
We’re proud to welcome Lauren De Crescenzo to the Argonaut Factory Racing roster.
Lauren is one of the most accomplished and disciplined racers in modern American gravel. A former Unbound Gravel Champion, a three-time Mid South winner, and a perennial threat wherever the racing is long, tactical, and unrelenting, she brings a depth of experience that aligns seamlessly with how we think about performance.
In these images, Lauren’s Firline Green RM3 sets the tone—built with SRAM RED, Argonaut Wheels, a WOVE saddle, CeramicSpeed OSPW, and Maxxis tires. It’s a bike that reflects Lauren’s approach: calm on the surface, ruthlessly efficient underneath. A road machine distilled to its essentials, finished with quiet confidence.
But this season, when the racing turns raw, Lauren will line up on something else entirely.
Her race bike of choice for gravel is a custom GR3, purpose-built for the demands of modern elite racing and finished in a paint scheme we’re not quite ready to reveal.
For now, consider this a teaser.
The photos—and the full story—are coming soon to your inbox.
Lauren will contest the Life Time Grand Prix this year, along with a focused slate of key events, including Mid South and, for the first time in her career, the Oregon Trail Gravel Grinder—our backyard stage race and one of the most demanding multi-day events in North America.
It’s a new chapter, and one we’re excited to write together.
Follow Lauren’s season and behind-the-scenes moments on Instagram, and keep an eye out for that GR3 reveal later this year.
Cassius Anderson
Cassius Anderson returns to Argonaut Factory Racing for another year, and his 2026 season is already making noise—globally.
A Northern California legend with deep roots in the local racing scene, Cassius has always raced with a rare combination of intuition and horsepower.
This winter, he took that form Down Under, kicking off the season with an 8th place finish at Radl Grvl. Proof, if any was needed, that NorCal legs travel well.
Cassius thrives in spaces where versatility matters—where races are long, unpredictable, and demand more than a single dimension of fitness.
Next on his calendar is a monumental 300km road race across Australia, a test that will showcase the full spectrum of his ability as a cyclist.
Back home, you’ll find Cassius where it counts: lining up at Grasshopper Adventure Series events, racing Oregon Trail, and disappearing into the high country in between.
His Argonaut race machines are built to reflect that breadth—capable of transitioning seamlessly between disciplines without ever compromising ride quality.
Catch him this spring at the Grasshoppers—if you can—and follow along on Instagram for a front-row seat to a truly global season.
Matthew Wiebe
Returning for his second season aboard Argonaut race machines, Matthew Wiebe brings a perspective shaped by discipline, restraint, and intent.
By profession, Matt is a high-end architect based in San Francisco—someone whose daily work revolves around precision, proportion, and performance under real-world constraints. That same mindset defines how he approaches racing and equipment.
Nothing extraneous. Nothing accidental. Every decision in service of how something feels at speed.
This season, Matt steps away from PAS and fully into his core community with Away Message, a Bay Area–based racing collective that prioritizes style, speed, and the outer limits of possibility on two wheels.
It’s a natural fit—one that values execution as much as expression.
Escaping the city for the mountains and rolling terrain of Northern California, Matt will race many of the Grasshoppers, Levi’s GranFondo, Oregon Trail, and a carefully chosen slate of legendary events across the West Coast and beyond.
His Argonaut—finished in a raw carbon to cobalt candy fade—mirrors his philosophy.
Honest materials. Thoughtful detailing. Performance that reveals itself over time.
Racing, for Matt, isn’t just about results. It’s about building something enduring, then testing it where it counts.

Racing as Culture
Supporting athletes is only one part of the picture.
The other—equally important—is where and how we show up.
For 2026, Argonaut returns as the official bike sponsor of the Oregon Trail Gravel Grinder.
OTGG sells out every year for a reason. It’s uncompromising, immersive, and deeply human—a race that strips things down to effort, preparation, and resolve.
Being part of it, especially here in our backyard, matters to us.
We’re also incredibly excited to be entering our first year as the official bike sponsor of the Grasshopper Adventure Series.
The Grasshoppers aren’t just races. They’re a cornerstone of cycling culture—full stop. Inclusive without being easy. Demanding without being precious. A proving ground where equipment choices, preparation, and mindset all show themselves.
Depending on your goals and terrain preferences, riders are equally well supported racing either the RM3 or GR3 across the series. Both platforms are designed for moments exactly like these—long days, imperfect roads, and the kind of effort that reveals the truth.
And we won’t just be there in name.
At every drop-bar Grasshopper, you’ll find Argonaut on the ground:
Leading shakeout rides
Connecting at packet pickup
Racing alongside folks like you
Hosting an open recovery lounge post-race
The recovery lounge is our way of extending the same hospitality we believe bikes should offer: a place to refuel, slow down, trade stories, and reconnect after the effort.
Open to everyone. No barriers. Just good food, tired legs, and shared experience while we wait for awards.
Because racing, at its best, doesn’t end at the finish line.
