The Argonaut Way
Stories

Every Argonaut begins the same way—with a clear process.
Not as a formality, but as a structure that keeps the build focused and consistent from start to finish. Each step builds on the last, so nothing is left to interpretation.
Why the Process Exists
A custom bike only works if every decision connects.
Geometry, layup, components, and finish all influence each other. Without a defined sequence, those decisions become fragmented. With it, the bike comes together as a complete system.
This is how we keep the work aligned.
The Seven Steps
Personalized Consultation. The process starts with a conversation. How you ride, what you expect from the bike, and what you’ve experienced before all shape the direction. This is where priorities are defined.
Geometry Determination. From there, we establish your position on the bike. Using dynamic fit data, we refine the geometry so it supports how you actually ride—not how a standard frame assumes you should.
Carbon Layup. With geometry set, we define how the frame will behave. Fiber orientation, material selection, and layup schedule are all tuned to deliver the ride characteristics established earlier.
Frame Fabrication. Individual parts become a structure. Bonding, alignment, and assembly are executed in stages to maintain precision and ensure the frame performs as designed.
Paint Design. Once the structure is complete, we define how the bike presents itself. The finish is developed with the same level of intent—nothing added without purpose.
Component Determination. The system is finalized through component selection. Wheels, drivetrain, and cockpit are chosen to match the build, not compete with it.
New Bike Day. The bike arrives fully resolved. No loose ends, no placeholders—just a finished product ready to be ridden as intended.
What This Delivers
The outcome isn’t just customization. It’s coherence.
Every part of the bike reflects decisions made with context, not assumption. The result is a ride that feels consistent, predictable, and aligned with the rider from the first mile forward.
