The Standard, Set in Raw Carbon

What the Material Reveals: The Build, The Standard

There's nowhere to hide in raw carbon. No paint to smooth over transitions. No color to distract from form.

Just the structure—exactly as it was made. Every junction, every surface, every decision laid bare. If you're going to present a frame this way, it has to be right. This GR3 is.

Finished in Cerakote matte with pewter grey logos, it reads less like a painted object and more like a material object—something engineered, not decorated. Under studio light against a black field, the bike doesn't just sit in the frame, it holds it. There's a gravity to it. A presence. Like it belongs somewhere beyond the everyday—closer to aerospace than cycling.

At Argonaut, we build around control—of fiber, of resin, of compaction, of heat. The goal isn't just strength or weight in isolation. It's the balance that defines ride quality: stiffness where it matters, compliance where it counts.

The GR3 has always been our expression of speed on imperfect surfaces. In raw form, that expression becomes visible. You can see the continuity of fibers through critical zones. You can see how loads are managed, how shapes resolve, how transitions carry force instead of interrupting it. There's a clarity to it. Nothing arbitrary. Nothing hidden.

The build follows the same philosophy: purposeful, fast, and resolved. A SRAM Force kit delivers clean, consistent performance. DT Swiss wheels keep things precise and responsive. Schwalbe Racing Ralph tires lean toward speed without losing composure when conditions get loose. An ENVE barstem ties the front end together—stiff, direct, and quiet.

Everything here serves the frame. And the frame earns it.

This GR3 isn't a special edition or a one-off experiment. It's a clear statement of what's possible when process and intent are aligned—when the way something is made is the point, not a means to cover it up. No excess. No distraction. Just the world's best carbon, exactly as it should be.
