Take a Tour Through Argonaut Cycles Headquarters
Argonaut Cycles operates out of Bend, Oregon, where every frame is designed, fabricated, and finished in-house. The facility is set up to maintain control over each stage of the process, from raw material to completed bike. That control is what allows the final product to behave as intended on the road.
Inside the Workshop
A tour of Argonaut HQ reveals a sequence of tightly managed steps rather than a single defining moment. Carbon layup, molding, trimming, bonding, and alignment all happen within the same environment. Each stage builds on the last, with minimal tolerance for variation.
This isn’t about scale. It’s about consistency.
How the Bikes Are Built
Every frame is constructed around the rider. Geometry, layup, and final assembly are aligned to how the bike will be used, not just how it looks on paper. The goal is to create a structure that responds predictably under load and remains stable over long distances.
Key elements of the process include custom carbon layups, precise frame alignment, and controlled finishing. None of these steps stand alone. Together, they define how the bike rides.
What the Tour Reveals
Seeing the process in person clarifies what’s otherwise difficult to explain. The decisions that shape ride quality are made long before the bike is assembled. By the time it’s complete, those decisions are no longer visible—but they’re present in every mile.
